About me
Growing up I always had a great appreciation for the natural world. I love all kinds of outdoor recreation ranging from scenic hikes to whitewater kayaking. All of these interests stem from my love for plants and nature. While an undergraduate at William & Mary in Virginia, I had the opportunity to study both Geology and Biology.
Geology is an exciting field for me because of its ability to restructure the way we think about the world around us. The way the world changes over time is very interesting to me and a central focus of my research.
Biology is interesting to me because of the countless interactions ranging from between the soil and the vegetation to predators and prey. Understanding how these interactions evolve and change over time is my primary research goal.
